Auto Finance – Program Mgr (Remote)

This is a Full-time position in Helena, MT posted January 28, 2022.

Description The incumbent will play a critical role in the Auto Finance Product & Strategy team.

This position will be responsible for driving improved financial performance through well thought out product changes that improve dealer and customer experience as well as drive profitable origination growth.

Candidate will also support and lead various product and risk related project initiatives as required and support the Auto Finance senior leadership team as we advance the Auto business and in particular will have ownership responsibilities for enhancing and implementing a stronger dealer markup analysis and program end to end.

Functions include; Product Management – lead overarching product initiatives within Auto Finance as well as support enterprise level initiatives.

Perform data analytics and market research to support proposed changes and track results.

Ongoing review and analysis of current product and program offerings to constantly find areas of opportunity for growth in volume and returns.

Business Support – proactively provide business support to the Auto senior leadership team in both presentation and analytics.

Respond to numerous ad hoc requests as they arise.

Build strong relationships within the Auto team and within Auto support functions (Loan Servicing, Finance, Risk, Vendor Management, etc.) in order to ensure effective engagement on initiatives and successful implementation with appropriate due diligence.

Move the customer and dealer experience agenda forward to provide the most hassle free lending experience in the U.S.

Chair the monthly Auto Product Board for broad coverage of Auto Lending activities, initiatives, and performance updates with senior leaders and support teams.

Risk Management – ensure a sound control environment and appropriate risk due diligence is evident and completed on all product initiatives.

Actively participate as applicable in ongoing risk programs such as RCSA, Risk Appetite and others to ensure a sound operating environment exists.

Chair the Auto Product Risk Roundtable for vetting of product initiatives to ensure legal and regulatory risk concerns are addressed.

Project Management – lead Auto projects as required including those related to broader product and strategic advancements in the evolving online/mobile/direct channels in the Auto industry as well as projects and programs related to Dealer Management routines and practices in dealer markup programs, dealer segmentation and dealer analytics.

Qualifications+ Experience planning and managing significant change within a corporate environment while operating at all levels within the organization + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint + Excellent analytic and reporting capabilities, including advanced knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel + Ability to be a leader and manage projects with limited to moderate oversight + Ability to multi-task and make informed decisions in a rapidly changing environment + Highly effective networking and relationship building skills + Experience supporting a product management vertical (experience in the Auto industry a plus) + In depth understanding of financial analysis, market analysis, business planning and risk management + Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required Master’s Degree Preferred Hours & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm + This position is not available in CO.
