Title: VP of Sales/Marketing (e-Rate clients)
Location: Remote in the Central Time Zone US
Salary: $145-160K + Bonus
Must: Must have expert level e-Rate pricing
Must: Prior sales to K-12, State/Local Government clients
As our client’s technology services grow, building and developing a strong eco-system of partnerships and alliances is key to our success.

The Vice President of Sales/Marketing will work closely with internal stakeholders like Strategy, Business Development, Product Management and Sales to establish new partnerships and manage existing relationships with the goals of achieving our strategic corporate objectives and driving significant revenue contribution.

The VP will effectively communicate and coordinate across internal resources to keep the company informed, aligned, and appropriately engaged in our relationships to achieve these objectives, and will also represent the client externally, managing some of the company’s most important business relationships on behalf of the senior leadership of the company.
The Main Responsibilities
Help sales AE’s effectively price their business and assist with sales.

Manage a team of 12 sales, 7 marketing professionals.

Understand the strategic objectives and build relationships with those customers.

Develop and execute detailed business plans including revenue and customer adoption targets, solutions packaging, and go-to-market plans with partners that achieve clear financial goals.

Adapt quickly to competitive conditions and market dynamics to change plans that aren’t working so that objectives can still be met.

Develop an integrated process/system for accurately tracking, reporting, and managing progress internally and through the partners.

Prioritize and organize the department to operate effectively across the company and engage with partners to achieve our objectives.

Coordinate co-marketing efforts and manage co-marketing funds with partners.

Clearly communicate regularly and as-needed to internal stakeholders the progress, plans, and directions needed to keep the organization aligned around our objectives, including communication with C-Level executives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing or Technology 15+ years professional work experience in Business Development or Portfolio Management Prior experience working within small to mid-sized clients Demonstrated experience managing large, complex business relationships Experience in planning and actioning multiple, complex programs including budget management Demonstrated ability as a product or technology advocate, with the ability to collaborate with engineering, product, sales and marketing teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Agile, humble, trustworthy, and a team player Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Passion for marketing simple and intuitive products that solve complex problems
