Responsibilities for Senior DevOps Engineer:
Familiarity with multiple Cloud platforms preferred, along with engineering skills to facilitate deployments and migration plan. Must understand migration approaches from OnPrem to Cloud.
Implement architectural designs and diagrams Automate processes and systems configuration/deployment Be able to solve problems and engineer solutions (infrastructure as code) Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD) Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams Automate systems tests for security, performance and availability Collaborate with team members to improve the companys engineering tools, policies and procedures and data security Ability to gather and aggregate metrics and logs into structured applications
Requirements Senior DevOps Engineer:
Expert in continuous code deployment and integration tools (Jenkins, Circle CI, Travis CI, Drone
– not all are required but must have a strength in at least one) Expertise in Azure and proficient in server administration Experience in coding/development and with scripting languages like Python, PHP, and Java (not all are required) Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) Deep understanding of containers and a working knowledge of Docker Extremely organized, process-oriented and thorough Senior level experience managing a broad range of systems, networks and operations in a results-oriented environment Working knowledge of tools like Git and GitHub
