ICF seeks a Marketing and Engagement Task Lead to perform a range of marketing and engagement, training and technical assistance, coordination, outreach, training, analytical, writing, problem-solving and related work to support the U.S.

Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s National Training and Technical Assistance Center (OJJDP’s NTTAC).

OJJDP’s NTTAC is a central source for TTA resources and serves as a one-stop shop for accessing OJJDP’s full array of TTA services.As a Marketing and Engagement Task Lead, you will provide support for all marketing and engagement activities.

These tasks include but are not limited to interfacing with TTA projects to collect resources and event information, the development of a TTA provider directory, drafting marketing materials, managing a virtual help desk and a listserv of over 50,000 subscribers, supporting enhancements to the OJJDP website, drafting marketing and communications plans, including plans for ongoing special projects, social media content development and strategy, developing relationships with TTA providers, the field, and internal and external partners and other duties as assigned.

In this role, you will work closely with project leadership to ensure that all marketing and engagement meets the needs of the juvenile justice and child victimization prevention field, the OJJDP TTA Provider Network, and the client.

Key Responsibilities:+ Participate on an experienced team widely recognized for building the capacity of professionals through publications, webinars, online learning communities, and onsite TTA to broker the delivery of nationwide Training and Technical Assistance (TTA).+ Develop, coordinate, and support marketing and advertising efforts for training and technical assistance activities such as coordinating social media postings, developing, and preparing marketing materials for client review, dissemination of training materials, or creating content for the OJJDP website.+ Serve as a liaison to all TTA providers, Subject Matter Experts, and DOJ staff in matters related to marketing and advertising for TTA providers, including for the development of a publicly available TTA provider directory.+ Maintain knowledge of national youth trends and initiatives, the organizations and individuals actively leading the field, and develop fruitful relationships with these organizations and individuals+ Conduct routine engagement activities with TTA providers to obtain developed resources, information on upcoming events, and TTA success stories+ Maintain and update strategic communications plans by translating marketing goals and information from DOJ staff into concrete communications that incorporate appropriate concepts, tone, rationale, and messaging.+ Collects, develops, and maintains website content in conjunction with DOJ staff and OJP’s OCIO web development team+ Assists with responding to client data calls, often within short turnaround times, as necessary; and gathers appropriate statistical information for reporting in monthly, annual and contract reports+ Maintain a listserv consisting of over 50,000 subscribers and determines the appropriate audiences for message dissemination+ Manage a Virtual Help Desk (phone and email) and respond to inquiries and requests for assistance.+ Strengthen existing, and develop new, relationships with TTA providers, the juvenile justice and child victimization prevention field, and internal and external project partners+ Generate ideas and suggestions on how to improve processes at all levels within the project.

Basic Qualifications:+ Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Research, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Policy, Government, Economics, or related discipline required with a minimum GPA of 3.0.+ 3+ years of work experience and knowledge of child welfare, juvenile justice, or youth-related health and human services; or a closely related field.

Substitution
– 10 years’ experience; or advanced degree (MS, MA, or PhD) and 1 year of experience.+ Experience with marketing and engagement strategies+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance+ Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.+ Previous experience managing complex tasks, self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

Preferred Skills/Experience:+ Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology, Public Policy, Government, Economics, or related discipline.+ Project experience or knowledge related to local, state, and/or federal government programs in the field of youth development, preventing victimization, delinquency prevention, or juvenile justice.

General knowledge of virtual platforms and software such as Microsoft Teams and Webex.+ Proficiency with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, including the ability to remediate complex collateral+ Constant Contact or GovDelivery software expertise+ Experience working with an agency, office, or bureau within the U.S.
