For each pursuit, you will be an integral part of a proposal development team that includes engineers and subject matter experts to manage proposal efforts and incorporate best practices to develop client-centric, visually appealing and compliant sales documents.

The role is always interesting, as each proposal has it owns unique blend of RFP requirements and solution offerings to meet a wide range of client needs and lasts only a few days or weeks.The Proposal Specialist position is virtual, with minimal day-to-day supervision as you drive the proposal through completion, but with plenty of team support any time you need it.

This means you will be respected on every assignment and have access to the tools to succeed.Key Responsibilities Manage activities during the development of the RFP response, including kick-off call, reviews, and production.

Develop proposal layout and ensures marketing material and proposals comply with brand standards Conceptualize design elements and develop simple graphics.

Research and gather proposal materials, including drafting non-technical content using boilerplate materials or prior proposals.

Drive proposal progress to meet scheduled milestones and compliance with the RFP.

Leads the effort to develop the company response for RFIs.

Collaborates with internal sources and client account managers to develop client presentation content.Management ResponsibilitiesIndividual ContributorPreferred Qualifications Feels comfortable multi-tasking and working independently with minimal oversight Experience designing documents, templates and graphics on Microsoft Word; strong skills in creative layout using Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Experience editing comprehensive materials Experience designing graphics to meet brand standards Experience working in an EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) and/or project management firm Experience working with the energy industryMinimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field; or equivalent experience 4 years related experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Work Environment/Physical DemandsSalary PlanMAC: Marketing & CommunicationsJob Grade004Black & Veatch endeavors to makeaccessible to any and all users.
