KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, CAS Operations Lead to join our Center for Audit Solutions organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall strategy of the Employee Benefit Plan centralized team within the Center for Audit Solutions and assist with the design and lead oversight of the Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) centralized team
  • Ensure consistency in policies and procedures with other service offerings within CAS and leverage leading practices through corroborating with peers; responsible for performance and monitoring of the EBP centralized team’s system of quality control and the EBP portal site along with other channels of communication
  • Team with the national practice Finance and Accounting team to provide financial support, including monthly and year-to-date analysis, creation of operating plan budgets, review on profit and loss statements, portfolio analysis, engagement contract status and create and manage project plans, timelines and milestones while meeting the scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives of the initiative, including the provision of regular reports to leadership regarding progress against agreed program deliverables
  • Utilize data and analytic capabilities to analyze and present information to leadership; develop action steps to achieve optimal business results based on market trends
  • Liaise with national practice leaders to identify leading operational practices and implement throughout the practice
  • Analyze relevant practice metrics to help ensure strategic objectives are met and make recommendations to leadership regarding strategic and tactical operational changes that can influence achievement of objectives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum seven years of recent experience in business operations or project management within a professional services firm or similar environment, including experience as a direct supervisor
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing multi-phase, multi-track projects with multiple team members, as well as the ability to manage up to three medium risk projects concurrently
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance and strategic advice to executive level management across various operational areas
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and negotiating skills required(300CAS)
